Sally Brooches

Sally brooches are hand made rosette style pins in a variety of different colourways.

Bold and colourful, Sally brooches are funky on the outside with a hard-working but happy centre! Ideal for jazzing up a work suit or pinning to an autumn coat.

Scarflettes

These oh-so-cute scarflettes are hand knitted by me using only the best quality wool. Each one has a unique vintage button and/or hand knitted rose detail. These are ideal when the days start getting colder and you want to have a nice warm neck without having to lug a full length scarf round. They are so practical that you can keep them on indoors whilst also adding interest to any outfit. They come in all colours so please let me know if there is a particular shade you are after.......

Merino Wool Rattles

These gorgeous little rattles make great and unusual gifts for new babies!
Hand felted using brightly coloured merino wool from the North of England. The innards are made from recycled plastic and mung beans- no nasty ingredients here!

Each rattle measures roughly 3 inches in diameter.

Each rattle will vary slightly from the one pictured but will be just as lovely. Your rattle will arrive individually packaged and labelled ready for giving!

Felt Lanterns

These Felt Lanterns are hand made from various types of sheeps' wool and alpaca. Each one contains a small battery powered candle that presses on and off so they are very safe and don't involve naked flames.

Vintage Button Rings

One of a kind Rings made from quality vintage buttons. They just don't make 'em like this any more! Some buttons are quite early from the war-time era and are made of casein (a milk protein). Others are a bit later- 60s coat buttons and 70s plastic ones. Bound to get you noticed! Sadly the pictures don't quite do them justice but take it from me that they are oh so cute in person!

Each ring is adjustable
The diameter of the ring face is listed in mm.

Felt Kits

Make your own felt with these kits exclusively from arctic circles. Each pack contains everything you need to make a toy ball or a felt bead bracelet and more! Plenty of ideas to get you started using step by step instructions.

Bristol Cranes Tea Towel

The four cranes outside Bristol's Industrial Museum are the only survivors from around 42 cranes that used to operate in the city docks, many were very close together. Most of the cranes were dismantled and sold for scrap.

The four left are electric cranes built by Stothert and Pitt of Bath and they can carry up to three tons (except for crane 32, which can carry up to ten tons).

Shot Tower Tea-Towel

The first shot tower in the world was built on Redcliffe Hill by plumber William Watts. In 1782 he invented a way to make perfectly round lead shot by pouring molten lead through a sieve and allowing it to drop from a height into water. When his tower was demolished for road widening in 1968, it was replaced by this 140-foot tall reinforced concrete landmark. It no longer makes shot, but as a listed building will be preserved as part of Bristol’s skyline.

This tea towel is in production and will be available soon.
